Sticks, shin guards, mouth guards, sunscreen, goggles, and water bottle.

Camp Description | 
The GC Girls' Field Hockey Camp will include instruction for beginners, while reviewing fundamentals for players with experience. Instruction will be provided by the Varsity and JV coaching staff, along with our varsity players.

Campers will work on the following skill development:

  • Stick work
  • Drives
  • Pushes
  • Flicks
  • Shooting
  • Penalty strokes
  • Passing/receiving
  • Defensive tackles
  • Corners


After serving as the Head Junior Varsity Coach for the 2014 and 2015 seasons, Coach Kelly Massino has served as the Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach since the fall of 2016. In her first year as coach, the team finished 2nd in the WCAC.

A graduate of Springbrook High School, she continued her love of field hockey at the collegiate level playing at Frostburg State University. After college, she began a high school coaching career at Springbrook High School, and in 2011 her Varsity Field Hockey team won the 4A Region Championship and was a State Semi-finalist. Coach Massino has been coaching field hockey for over seven years and supports developing a well-rounded student-athlete by encouraging hard work, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Outside of coaching, Coach Massino is a Physical Education and Health teacher at Our Lady of Good Counsel. She also has achieved Level One Coaching Certification for Field Hockey and Lacrosse, and is CPR and First Aid certified.
