Description

Art is all about paint brushes and pencils, right? NOT AT THIS CAMP! Ambitious Artists Camp aims to expose creative young artists to a wide variety of mediums including portraiture, abstract painting, hand building with clay, pottery wheel, and stop-motion animations. On the first day of camp, Camp Director, Nick Clulow will organize individual and group activities in order to gauge campers' areas of interest and abilities. From there, Mr. Clulow will facilitate activities that not only appeal to the campers of all levles, but also encourage them to expand their creative boundaries and help them strengthen their artistic skills. Possible projects include:

Individual Projects

• altered photo portraits
• bowl on the pottery wheel
• hand built animal mug
• ceramic pendants
• color scheme circle drawings

Group Projects

• building a clay city
• stop motion/pixilation on the iPad
